[It's midday and guess who still has pent up aggression from the last mission? This guy.

Cato could be found in the Battle Dome, using it for the first time since he got here - which would have shocked anyone who actually knew him - the fact that he'd gone so long without training was strange.

To him, though, it hadn't mattered for a long time after he arrived. Because he was dead - he wasn't going to be competing in the games any more and that was the only reason he trained, the only reason he even existed before. An existential crisis? Definitely.

There are dummies cut down all around him and it's apparent he's been in here for a long time by the way he's breathing and sweating. But he's grinning into the journal.]

Anyone feel like sparring?

[He would apply sarcasm here but he's afraid he'll be taken literally.]

Yeah. [And he keeps going to spur the conversation into something that'll get results.]

Come to the Battle Dome then. [It's said with a grin but the inflection is less excited and more anticipatory.]

[And Cross will be there in about 20 minutes. When he finally finds Cato, he's a bit too busy admiring everything inside.]

Whoaahohoooo, man this place looks awesome! How'd they do this!?

[He'll remember why he originally game in the first place just give him a minute...or a smack in the head. Either will do.]

[Cato just...stares and scoffs after a moment.]

I would be amenable to that suggestion. [Spock is already in the Dome.]

[He has no idea what amenable means but the question afterwards stops his brain from focusing entirely on that. Instead the screen (book) veers over to the number of the room -- either he can't be bothered to say it or he doesn't know the protocol for it or...something.]

All right, I'm on my way.

[With that, Roy will grab his sword and head out to the Battle Dome, with his full military outfit from home. When he arrives, he'll look around in confusion at this strange building before spotting the room number that had been shown to him over the journal, and enters.]

I could go for a spar.

[Okay he shouldn't be this excited about fighting a girl. Mostly because he barely ever got to do some actual sparring with full contact at the Academy. It was to prevent broken bones or cuts but here -- hell he could do what he wanted.]

I'll spar. What style of fighting do you use?

Short sword mostly.

Hm. You might have a tough time then, as I use a nanashaku jitte, which is pretty long. [Picks it up to show, and it's about 6 feet, 10 inches long. Or 2.12 meters.]

[ She's never been all that good at the fighting arts, really, but a little practice probably wouldn't hurt in a place like this. Seems like those skills might come in more handy than she thought. ]
